The classic game Monster Hunter is finally getting its big-screen adaptation moment and it’s being led by Resident Evil veteran Milla Jovovich and martial arts star Tony Jaa.
Sony Pictures is the studio sending this out into the world and they describe as such:
“When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower. In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman).”
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait until 2021 for this film, the studio is bucking the trend of pushing major films to next year and instead will be releasing Monster Hunter in December. You can check out the trailer below.
