If you don’t already know Canadian music artist Grimes, you’ve probably heard about her famous boyfriend, Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk. But that super geek connection has nothing to do with her own fame and talent, in fact, Grimes is not only a unique music talent all her own, but, like Musk, she’s also a big science fiction fan.
That comes through in her latest music video titled “Idoru,” which the singer makes clear is a direct nod to the classic science fiction novel by William Gibson of the same name. The single is from Grimes’ new album Miss Anthropocene.
