Elon Musk’s SpaceX wants to go to Mars, but before the mission, critical tests are required. The spacecraft SpaceX wants to use, the Starship MK1, is currently undergoing that testing. However, space is still hard, as the spacecraft suffered an explosion on Wednesday during a pressure test.
In a statement, Musk said, “The purpose of today’s test was to pressurize systems to the max, so the outcome was not completely unexpected. There were no injuries, nor is this a serious setback.”
Ultimately, this (video below) is how the Starship, boosted by the Super Heavy rocket, is meant to operate.
