Japan’s Kao Corporation and Panasonic are launching a tech-powered beauty system that lets users hibernate inside a transparent spray-on layer designed to protect the skin overnight.
Yes, it’s a bit creepy and insect-like, but apparently Kao’s scientists think this will actually be a hit with people looking to preserve their looks.
The device ($460) and spay-on formula ($74), which will be sold as the Future Skin est Biomimesis Veil Collection, will launch next month in Japan and in the rest of Asia in 2020.
