Google is trying to break into the incredibly competitive gaming space with its new Stadia device and system, but the company has its work cut out for it with traditional console games remaining popular and now VR games entering the fray.
If Google’s Stadia has any chance it will come through marketing, and that’s why the company’s latest, extremely trippy commercial may be just the right stuff.
The commercial stars perma-weird performance artist Reggie Watts guiding a new game player through the world of Stadia.
It’s not exactly the most informative video, but in terms of sheer odd-as-cool, this video (see below) just might get Stadia the attention Google is looking for.
